Who is Carl Harrison?
Carl initially trained in three-dimensional design and worked extensively across various industries worldwide, focusing on product design. He later transitioned to aiding small-scale manufacturers through roles with organizations like Oxfam, Traidcraft, and UNIDO, facilitating product development for local and export markets. His work often involved creating strategies to empower producers to develop products independently. Carl then pursued design education, merging his passions for design, development, and diverse cultures. In 2016, he published a book in the USA on design in the developing world, exploring innovative craft development strategies.
